Burnout isn’t a blowout.
It’s a slow leak.
You don’t hear it.
You barely notice it.
No warning, but little by little, the air leaves your soul.
• The joy fades
• The vision blurs
• The fire flickers
And before you know it, you find yourself stuck on the side of the road and out of the race.
But we serve a God who revives wounded spirits, tired hearts, and flat tires! As David sang in Psalm 23, the Shepherd longs to restore our soul.
Return to your first love.
Do your first works.
Fan the flame.
Rest.
Sabbath isn’t a luxury. It’s a lifeline.
Your race isn’t over.
Pull into the pit.
Let Him refill you.
