Bishop Morgan is married to Diane and they have two sons, Stephen (Angey) and Andrew.  They also have three grandchildren who are the light of their lives, Pierson and twins Kinley and Reese.

The most exciting, challenging and enjoyable part of Bishop Morgan’s ministry is his 25 years of pastoring.  He has been blessed to pastor some great and innovative churches such as Sherwood COG, Pathway Ministries and Sumiton COG all in Alabama. Bishop Chad Fickett serves as the Youth and Discipleship Director for the Church of God in Texas.

While growing up in a minister’s home in Augusta, Maine, his life was changed and transformed by Christ at the age of 12. At 13, after receiving the Holy Spirit and being called into the ministry, he began preaching.

Chad attended East Coast Bible College in Charlotte, NC, where he majored in Biblical Studies to prepare himself for the calling Christ placed on him. He was able to return home to minister to the youth at Christian Ridge Church of God in Ellsworth Maine. Pastor Chad Fickett has served as youth pastor at Rockville Church of God, Assistant Pastor at Princeton Church of God. He was able to replant the Living Hope Church of God in Laurel Maryland, and Senior Pastor at the Grasonville Church of God where he completed the construction of a new sanctuary.

In 2001, Bishop Fickett was bestowed with the highest honor; he married the love of his life Jennifer. Their goal has been to make the church community develop into a motivated body of believers in their united efforts.

While Pastoring the Grasonville Church of God, Bishop Fickett was asked to leave the pastorate and serve as the Youth and Discipleship Director of Eastern Canada. Serving in the Youth and Discipleship Director’s chair now gives him great opportunities to sow into others’ lives and develop opportunities for others to encounter Christ. His heart is to win students to Christ, mentor them in the faith, and send them out in Holy Spirit-empowered ministry. He is passionate that the church reaches and raises up students by mentoring each young leader to have an immediate and future impact. He has been blessed to serve as Youth and Discipleship Director in Eastern Canada, Illinois, Pennsylvania, and, now, the great state of Texas.  Bishop Fickett has chaired and co-chaired various committees in the Church of God. He is a talented singer and communicator.

He desires to be a messenger of hope. His favorite verse, 1 Peter 1:3 “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.”  He strives to give every person the same opportunity to encounter Christ as he did.
